‘Bach Talk’ Podcast Returns for Third Season

By David Salazar

The Bach Society of Saint Louis has released the third season of its monthly podcast “Bach Talk.”

Hosted and produced by classical radio veteran Ron Klemm, season three picks up where season two concluded with a live recording featuring Grammy Award-winning conductor Leonard Slatkin at the 2025 Chorus America Conference in St. Louis. The organization plans to continue producing future live episodes.

Season three presents interviews captured at the 2025 Chorus America Conference with support by Music Director A. Dennis Sparger, Associate Producer Scott MacDonald, Assistant Executive Director Danielle Feinstein, and tenor Zach Singer. Guests include leading figures in the choral field, offering listeners a behind-the-scenes view of current perspectives shaping the art form.

“I love talking to people. I love finding out what makes them tick. These days, you can do a search and find out just about any fact you’d ever want to know about anybody,” said Klemmm, per an official press release. “I like to ask the questions that you won’t find in somebody’s bio…the things that you can’t research…that help us understand who a person really is.”
