Bach Society of Saint Louis Brings Back ‘Bach Talk Podcast’
By David SalazarThe Bach Society of Saint Louis is bringing back its “Bach Talk Podcast” for a second season.
Season two will include conversations with tenor Gene Stenger and Ken Kulosa, Principal Cellist with The Bach Society Orchestra.
“When we began Bach Talk, our primary goal was to ‘tell our story,” said Bach Talk host and producer Ron Klemm in an official press release. Easier said than done, of course, since The Bach Society’s story goes back more than eighty years! Our hope was to peek behind the curtain; let listeners hear the voices of the people they see on stage–singers, instrumentalists, conductors–find out what makes them tick. We’ve begun that in season one and the story continues.”
Season one of the podcast series features such artists as The Bach Society Music Director and Conductor A. Dennis Sparger, Bach expert David Gordon, soprano Josefien Stoppelenburg, and harpsichordist Dr. Charles Metz, among others.
