Charlottesville Opera has unveiled its 2025 slate.

“We’re excited to have so many accomplished singers and returning favorites back for the 2025 season,” said Leanne Clement, General Director of Charlottesville Opera, per an official press release. “It’s an incredible opportunity for our community to have professional singers who regularly perform at some of the world’s greatest houses to join us in Charlottesville.”

First up is “Carmen.” Audrey Babcock stars in the title role alongside Chauncey Packer as Don José and Richard Ollarsaba as Escamillo.

Performance Dates: June 20-22, 2025

“The Pirates of Penzance” stars Curt Olds, David Blalock, Jeni Houser, and Peter Kendall Clark.

Performance Dates: July 11-13, 2025
