Arizona Opera Updates COVID-19 Protocols

The Arizona Opera has updated COVID-19 protocols.

The company noted that in alignment with the most recent CDC guidelines, it will require boosters for all eligible attendees.

In a statement, the Arizona Opera said “beginning March 1 with the production of ‘A Little Night Music,’ attendees who are eligible for boosters must present proof of completion of their booster dose on their vaccination card in addition to primary vaccination prior to entry.”

For those who do not have a vaccine or booster, attendees will be able to present proof of a negative COVID PCR test completed within 72 hours of attendance.

The company also noted that per the CDC’s recommendation, “audience members must continue to wear a mask or face covering over their nose and mouth when in the common indoor areas regardless of vaccination status, unless actively eating or drinking.”

The opera house will also require photo ID and masks for all attendees all masks must be worn throughout the performance.
