Arena di Verona Announces Juan Diego Flórez Gala Program

The Arena di Verona has announced the programming for Juan Diego Flórez’s gala concert.

The company said that the program will include excerpts from such operas as Verdi’s “Luisa Miller” and “La Traviata,”  Donizetti’s “la Fille du Regiment” and “Don Pasquale,” Rossini’s “La Cenerentola,” Gounod’s “Romeo et Juliette,” and Puccini’s “La Boheme” and “Manon Lescaut.”

Flórez will be joined by such artists as Marina Monzó, Vasilisa Berzhanskaya, Gabriele Sagona, and Michele Pertusi. Christopher Franklin conducts the concert which will be held on July 23, 2023.

Flórez is set to make his Arena di Verona debut on July 20 performing in a new production of Verdi’s “Rigoletto.”
