Jonas Kaufmann has canceled his Munich concert on May 7, 2024.

The tenor took to social media and said, “Unfortunately, laryngitis has forced me to cancel tomorrow’s concert in Munich. Canceling is always a very last resort, but in this case I am not well enough to perform. Tickets will be refunded. I appreciate your understanding and support, and look forward to performing for you again very soon!”

The tenor was set to present his “The Sound of Movies” concert with the Münchner Symphoniker and Jochen Rieder.

Kaufmann returns to the stage on May 12 for a concert at the Sofia, National Palace of Culture and on May 16 for the Royal Opera’s celebration of Antonio Pappano.
