San Francisco Performances has announced its 2024-25 season.

For the company’s 45th Anniversary Gala tenor Nicholas Phan and composer and pianist Jake Heggie take the stage.

Tenor Karim Sulayman and guitarist Sean Shibe will present works from their album “Broken Branches.”

Performance Date: October 12, 2024

Opening the “Art of Song” series is the world premiere of new works by Caroline Shaw and Gabriel Kahane.

Performance Date: November 14, 2024 

Countertenor Anthony Roth Costanzo makes his company debut in a concert featuring the works of Vivaldi, Gabriella Lena Frank, Joel Thompson, Verdi, and the song of Barbra Streisand.

Performance Date: November 19, 2024 

Also making her San Francisco Performances debut is mezzo-soprano Fleur Barron. Her program, “The Power and the Glory: Music of Colonialism” features works by Zubaida Azezi/ Edo Frenkel, Theodoro Valcarcel, Messiaen, Xavier Montslavatge, Ernesto Lecuona, Mahler, Schönberg, Weill, Ilse Weber, Kamala Sankaram, H.T. Tsiang, and Chen Yi.
