Annapolis Opera is set to present Verdi’s “La Traviata.”

The work will be shown on March 14 and 16 at Maryland Hall with a cast that includes Ethel Trujillo, Lawrence Barasa, and Gustavo Ahualli. The cast will be rounded out by Joanne Evans, Patricia Hengen, Patrick Kilbride, John Tibbetts, Andrew Adelsberger, and J.P. Gorski.

Craig Kier will conduct the production by Eve Summer.

Leading up to the performances the company will present “The Enduring Popularity of Verdi’s La Traviata” on Feb. 22, 2025, “If Clothes Make the Man, Costumes Tell the Story” on March 1, 2025, and “Pre-Performance Discussion” on March 14 and 16, 2025. There will also be an Artist-Talk Back after the March 16 performance.
