Annapolis Opera to Present ‘Glory Denied’

By David Salazar

Annapolis Opera is set to present Tom Cipullo’s “Glory Denied” to kick off 2024.

The opera will get two presentations on Jan. 27 and 28, 2024 at Maryland Hall. These showcases represent the company premiere of the work as well as the first time the opera gets performed in the state of Maryland.

The opera will star Matthew Hill, Craig Irvin, Oznur Tuluoglu, and Colleen Daly. Craig Kier conducts and Dean Anthony directs.

The production is presented as part of the “Opera Insight Series” which “provides a deeper understanding of this production, with two free discussions leading up to the performances, a pre-performance presentation, and a post-performance panel discussion.”
