North / South Consonance will present “From Barcelona to New York” on March 27, 2025, at the DiMenna Center for Classical Music.

The showcase, which kicks off at 8 p.m. local time, will feature mezzo-soprano Anna Tonna performing alongside pianists Donna Weng Friedman and Álvar Rubio-Comino as well as narrator Diana Solomon-Glover and the North / South Consonance Orchestra under Max Lifchitz.

The program includes Anna Cazurra’s “Tensho, Atlantida & Gran Tango” and Stefania de Kenessy’s “Microvids.”

Next up for North / South Consonance is a “Cinco de Mayo” celebration on May 4, 2025, as well as “The Colors of Spring,” a program of music by Max Lifchitz featuring soprano Hannah Spierman, and the season finale in June.
