The Teatro San Carlo di Napoli has announced a summer season featuring two operas and a concert.

The season will be performed at the Piazza del Plebiscito in Naples, Italy and live streamed.

The season opens with Puccini’s “Tosca” with Anna Netrebko, Yusif Eyvazov, and Ludovic Tézier. The concert performances will be conducted by Juraj Valčuha.

Performance Dates: July 23 & 26, 2020

Anna Pirozzi and Jonas Kaufmann star in Verdi’s “Aida” with Anita Rachvelishvili, Claudio Sgura, and Roberto Tagliavini. Michele Mariotti conducts the concert performance.

Performance Dates: July 28 & 31, 2020

Juraj Valčuha conducts Beethoven’s Symphony No.9 with Maria Agresta, Daniela Barcellona, Antonio Poli, and Roberto Tagliavini.
