Amarillo Symphony Announces 2023-24 Season

The Amarillo Symphony announced its 2023-24 season. Here is a look at the vocal highlights for the season.

Sara Hershowitz and George Jackson join forces for Barber’s “Knoxville Summer of 1915” and Brahms’s Symphony No. 1. There will also be bluegrass music.

Performance Dates: Nov. 17 & 18, 2023

Mahler’s Symphony No. 5 will be conducted by George Jackson. The concert also includes a Nathan Fryml piece with the Amarillo Master Chorale.

Performance Dates: Feb. 23 & 24, 2024

George Jackson conducts Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9.

Performance Dates: April 19 & 20, 2024

The season will open in September and run through April.
