Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra & Chorale has announced its 2021-22 season. Here is a look at the operatic and vocal performances.

Soprano Amanda Forsythe, mezzo-soprano Kelley O’Connor, tenor Brenden Gunnell, and bass Joshua Bloom present Schumann’s “Requiem” alongside conductor Richard Egarr and violinist Shunske Sato.

Performance dates: Oct. 14 – 17, 2021

Performances of Bach’s Christmas Oratorio spotlights soprano Lydia Teuscher, contralto Avery Amereau, tenor Gwilym Bowen, and bass-baritone Ashley Riches. Richard Egarr conducts.

Performance dates: Dec. 9 – 12, 2021

Soprano Mary Bevan, countertenor Iestyn Davies, tenor James Gilchrist, and baritone Roderick Williams perform Bach’s “Mass in B Minor” alongside conductor Richard Egarr.

Performance dates: Feb. 2 – 5, 2022

Soprano Elizabeth Watts performs works by Mozart alongside conductor Richard Egarr and the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra.

Performance dates: Feb. 10 – 13, 2022

Handel’s “Radamisto” stars soprano Stefanie True, bass-baritone Neal Davies, soprano Ellie Laugharne, baritone Morgan Pearse, and mezzo-soprano Wallis Giunta. Richard Egarr conducts the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra in a production by Christophe Gayral.
