Ainhoa Arteta is set to return to the stage on Feb. 27, 2022.

The soprano will sing a recital at the Teatro de la Zarzuela after having a number of medical issues over the past months that forced her to cancel several productions.

The soprano will be joined by Mexican tenor Ramón Vargas and pianist Javier Carmena.

The two singers will perform Spanish songs, Mexican songs as well as South American and Italian music.

Arteta is one of the best-known Spanish singers of her generation who has performed at the Metropolitan Opera, Washington National Opera, Bayerische Staatsoper, San Francisco Opera, Teatro alla Scala, Teatro San Carlo, and Arena di Verona, among others.
