Ailyn Pérez, Sondra Radvanovsky, Kenneth Kellogg, & Javier Camarena Lead Lyric Opera of Chicago’s 2024-25 Season

The Lyric Opera of Chicago has announced its 2024-25 season. Here is a look at the productions.

Verdi’s “Rigoletto” is set to star Igor Golovatenko, Soloman Howard, Javier Camarena, and Mané Galoyan. Enrique Mazzola conducts the production by Director Mary Birnbaum.

Performance Dates: Sept. 14-Oct. 6 2024

Elza van den Heever, Russell Thomas, Mika Kares, and Brian Mulligan star in Beethoven’s “Fidelio” with Enqirue Mazzola conducting.

Performance Dates: Sept. 26-Oct. 10, 2024

Patti Lupone performs “A Life in Notes.”

Performance Date: Oct. 4, 2024

Mozart’s “Le Nozze di Figaro” will star Peter Kellner, Gordon Bintner, Federica Lombardi, Ying Fang, and Kayleigh Decker. Erina Yashima conducts the production by Barbara Gaines.

Performance Dates: Nov. 9-30, 2024

Kenneth Kellogg, Norman Garrett, and Zoie Reams star in Tesori/Thompson’s “Blue” with Joseph Young conducting and Tazewell Thompson directing. 

Performance Dates: Nov. 16-Dec. 1, 2024

Sondra Radvanovsky stars in “The Puccini Heroines” with Music Director Enrique Mazzola. They will collaborate on a program including excerpts from each of Puccini’s twelve operas.

Performance dates: Feb. 8-16, 2025

Ailyn Pérez, Gabriella Reyes, Pene Pati, Will Liverman, and Peixin Chen star in Puccini’s “La Bohème.” Jordan de Souza conducts the production by  Melanie Bacaling.

Performance Dates: March 15-April 12, 2025

Nicole Heaston, Jasmine Habersham, Kyle Ketelsen, Jonas Hacker, and Daniela Mack star in the lyric premiere of Missy Mazzoli and Royce Vavrek’s “The Listeners.” Enrique Mazzola conducts the production by Lileana Blain-Cruz.

Performance Dates: March 30-April 11, 2025

Enrique Mazzola conducts “A Wonderous Concert” featuring the Lyric Opera of Chicago Chorus & Orchestra.

Performance Dates: April 16 & 19, 2025
