Opéra de Montréal will present Mozart’s “The Magic Flute” starting on May 7, 2022.

This production, which is directed by Barry Kosky and Suzanne Andrade, will star Aaron Blake, Kim-Lillian Strebel, Richard Sveda, Anna Siminska, and Christian Zaremba. Christopher Allen conducts with Tobias Ribitzki as the designated Stage Director for this revival of the production.

“We are delighted to finally present ‘The Magic Flute’ and turn the page on our 2021-2022 season, which was greatly affected by the pandemic. It’s a production we have all been waiting for since 2020, one that is in high demand all around the world,” said Patrick Corrigan, General Director of the Opéra de Montréal, in an official statement. “We are extremely lucky to have it here in Montreal.”

There will be additional performances on May 10, 12, 15 and 17, 2022.
