The Metropolitan Opera has announced that it will be aligning the stars of the opera world for a live stream of an At Home Gala on April 25, 2020 at 1 p.m. EDT.

The gala can be viewed via the company’s official website with major artists performing from their homes all around the world. The artists include, but are not limited to, Jonas Kaufmann, Anna Netrebko, Yusif Eyvazov, Roberto Alagna, Alexandra Kurzak, Jamie Barton, Elina Garanca, Piotr Beczala, Angel Blue, Peter Mattei, Isabel Leonard, René Pape, Anita Rachvelishvili, Diana Damrau, Lisette Oropesa, Joseph Calleja, Erin Morley, Lawrence Brownlee, Sonya Yoncheva, and Renée Fleming, among many others.

The event will be hosted by Met Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin and general manager Peter Gelb.

Here is the full lineup of artists and from where they will be tuning in.

“While the Met is famous for its high-definition transmissions into cinemas, this will be a great artistic but low-tech operation,” said Gelb in a press release. “We will be providing operatic uplift to our audiences, as well as for our singers, who are eager to connect with their fans.”

The company will keep the stream on its website until the next day at 6:30 p.m EDT with the full program to be unveiled in coming days.
