
Adèle Charvet, Ann Hallenberg, San Francisco Symphony Among Winners of Gramophone Classical Music Awards

The Gramophone Classical Music Awards have announced their 2026 winners. The winners were announced Oct. 7 at a ceremony in London.
Esa-Pekka Salonen and the San Francisco Symphony Chorus and Orchestra won the Opera Award for the premiere recording of Kaija Saariaho’s “Adriana Mater,” released by Deutsche Grammophon.
Capella Sollertia and Johanna Soller won the Choral Award for the premiere recording of Johann Ludwig Bach’s Leipzig Cantatas, released by Ricercar.
Mezzo-soprano Adèle Charvet and pianist Florian Caroubi won the Song Award for their first full album together, “Belle époque!,” released by Alpha.
Mezzo-soprano Ann Hallenberg and The Mozartists, led by Ian Page, won Voice and Ensemble for a recording of Gluck arias on Signum.
Concerto Italiano and Rinaldo Alessandrini won the Early Music Award for “Stravagante pensiero: Gesualdo & Napoli.”
Countertenor Philippe Jaroussky performed Hahn’s “À Chloris” with pianist Nigel Foster at the ceremony while Charvet and Caroubi performed Fauré’s “La chanson du pêcheur,” Op. 4, No. 1.
