Metropolitan Opera to Present ‘Così fan tutte’ Live in HD

The Metropolitan Opera is set to present Mozart’s “Così fan tutte” in Live in HD on Oct. 3, 2026.

The opera will star Soprano Federica Lombardi and mezzo-soprano Samantha Hankey as the sisters Fiordiligi and Dorabella, with tenor Duke Kim and baritone Andrey Zhilikhovsky as their lovers, Ferrando and Guglielmo. Soprano Ana María Martínez sings Despina, and bass-baritone Gerald Finley takes on the role of Don Alfonso. Maestro Nimrod David Pfeffer conducts.

Gary Halvorson will direct the Live in HD presentation for cinemas, and soprano Christine Goerke will host the transmission, sharing exclusive behind-the-scenes content and interviews during intermission.

This is the third HD for the Mozart opera followings similar broadcasts, albeit with different casts, in 2014 (different production) and 2018.
