Bell’Aria Lírica to Present ‘Rigoletto’

Bell’Aria Lírica is set to present Verdi’s “Rigoletto” in its original version throughout Buenos Aires.

This uncut version of “Rigoletto” stars Fabricio Gori as Duke of Mantua; Tomás Eckart and Norberto Lara in the title role; Laura Scartascini Chisari and Rocío Cereceda as Gilda; Eugenia Forteza, Paola Völk, and Cristina Colom as Maddalena; and Federico Salcedo and Juan Ghioni as Sparafucile. They are joined by Eduardo Maradei, Damian Flores, Gabriel Moscardini, Angelo Cerricchio, Tadeo Claá, Lorena Tuhay, and Clarisa Martínez Herrero.

The choir directed by Matías Jorge Bollentini features Carlos Guillermo Klug, Gabriel Alfredo Castañeda Pérez, Gerónimo David de la Cruz, Hugo Arnoldo Vázquez Torres, Ian Marco Laita Farias, and Javier Andrés Palumbo. Omar Ottomani is the stage director.

Lorena Brito accompanies at the piano, and Lina Miller serves as musical director.

Performances are to take place at the Salamanca Centre on Sept. 5 and 6, followed by a run at the Carlos Carella Theatre on Sept. 13 and 20, and the Estrada Center on Sept. 18 and 19. The final performances are scheduled for Sept. 26 and 27 at the Zamorano Center.
