The Canadian Opera Company (COC) will host a one-night-only concert on Sept. 17, 2026 to mark the 20th anniversary of the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto.

“A Concert Celebration: 20 Years at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts” will feature the COC Orchestra and COC Chorus under Music Director Johannes Debus, with the COC Chorus led by Price Family Chorus Master Sandra Horst. The program opens with a performance of the fanfare composed by Scott Irvine for the opera house’s inaugural 2006 season, followed by Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9.

The all-Canadian soloist lineup includes soprano Aviva Fortunata, mezzo-soprano Ariana Maubach, tenor Matthew Cairns, and bass-baritone Alex Halliday.

“The Four Seasons Centre was truly the result of our community rallying together in support of an extraordinary venue for showcasing extraordinary artistry,” said General Director David Ferguson, per an official press release. “This September, we look forward to toasting to 20 years of artistic achievement.”

The performance kicks off at 7:30 p.m. local time.
