Soprano Miah Persson solos in the world premiere of composer in residence, Mark Andre’s “Im Entsiegeln 1 for soprano and orchestra.” Baldur Brönnimann conducts the Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra.

Mezzo-soprano Cecilia Bartoli and soprano Mélissa Petit star in Gluck’s “Orfeo ed Euridice.” They are joined by Chorus of the Opéra de Monte-Carlo. Gianluca Capuano conducts Les Musiciens du Prince.

The Luzerner Theater Opera Ensemble present works by Peter Maxwell Davies in “Mad King & Medea.” Marie Lambert-Le Bihan directs and Maria Radzikhovskiy conducts the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra.
