Mezzo-Soprano Sophie Koch Joins Do Opera for Management

Mezzo-soprano Sophie Koch has joined Do Opera’s roster for worldwide career management.

Koch is a leading artist at the Wiener Staatsoper, where she has sung roles including Octavian in “Der Rosenkavalier,” the Composer in “Ariadne auf Naxos,” Charlotte in “Werther,” and Fricka in “Das Rheingold.” She was named an Österreichische Kammersängerin by the Vienna State Opera in 2016.

Her other 2025–26 season engagements include Klytämnestra in “Elektra” at the Finnish National Opera, Geneviève in “Pelléas et Mélisande” at the Grand Théâtre de Genève, La mère in “Louise” at the Opéra National de Lyon, Herodias in “Salome” at the Stuttgart State Opera, and Mozart’s Requiem with the Mozarteum Orchestra.

She joins a roster that includes Marco Berti, Michèle Bréant, Olga Bezsmertna, Marie Lombard, Clémentine Margaine, Samson Setu, and Vanessa Vasquez, among others.
