Soprano Ricarda Merbeth has joined Helmut Fischer Artists for General Management.

The soprano is one of today’s leading Wagner and Strauss interpreters, in demand on major stages worldwide.

After her “Daphne” in a new production at the Vienna State Opera in 2004, her international career was launched. Since then, she has gone on to perform at the leading theaters in the world. Recent highlights include Brünnhilde in “Der Ring des Nibelungen” at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Semperoper Dresden and the Vienna State Opera; “Elektra” at the Berlin State Opera, the Vienna State Opera, the Teatro San Carlo Naples and the Finnish National Opera; Senta in “Der Fliegende Holander” at the Berlin State Opera; Isolde in “Tristan uns Isolde” at the Deutsche Oper Berlin and “Turandot” at the Tokyo Spring Festival.

In 2010, she was appointed Österreichische Kammersängerin at the Vienna State Opera by the then director Ioan Holender.
