Baritone Adam McCrory to Headline ‘Liederabend: An Evening of German Song’
By David SalazarBaritone Adam McCrory is set to his first independent recital, “Liederabend: An Evening of German Song,” on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 7:00 PM at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Westwood, Los Angeles.
The baritone will be joined by pianist Alyssa French as well as three guest sopranos, including Virginia Douglas, Julia Behbudov, and Agnese Gallenzi, all of them performers of The Opera Buffs, Inc., who is supporting the recital.
“After being affected by the LA fires this year, I wanted to create a concert that would give me something to work towards and a way to engage with the community. As a classical singer, an evening of song like this allows me to come together with colleagues and tell stories through music to a local audience in an intimate setting,” McCrory told OperaWire.
