New Hampshire’s Opera North Unveils Summerfest 2026 Season

New Hampshire’s Opera North has announced its Summerfest 2026 season, themed “A Season of Epic Journeys,” running this June and July at Blow-Me-Down Farm in Cornish, New Hampshire.

Rossini’s comedic “La Cenerentola” opens the festival. The cast will include Mariam Mouawad, Jason Gonzalez, Lwazi Dlamini, William Dopp, David Kahng, Veronica Richer, and Tzytle Steinman. Alex Paul Sheerin directs and Louis Burkot conducts.

Performance Dates: June 26 – July 1, 2026


Douglas Moore’s tragic “The Ballad of Baby Doe” follows with a cast that includes Ashley Fabian, Joshua Jeremiah, and Carla Jablonski. Linda Brovsky directs and Louis Burkot conducts.

Performance Dates: July 12 – July 17, 2026


Jerry Bock’s “Fiddler on the Roof” closes the festival starring Adam Grupper, Deborah Radloff and Maureen Brennan. Zach Jenkins directs an Louis Burkot conducts.

Performance Dates: July 23 – July 26, 2026


All performances take place under Opera North’s circus tent at Blow-Me-Down Farm, a partnership with the Saint-Gaudens National Historic Park on the banks of the Connecticut River.
