ORF III to Broadcast ‘Der fliegende Holländer’ with George Gagnidze from Oper im Steinbruch

The production by Philipp M. Krenn will showcase a cast that is led by George Gagnidze in the title role. He will be joined by Elisabeth Teige as Senta, Liang Li as Daland, and AJ Glueckert as Erik.

The open-air venue has recently seen productions of “Carmen,” “Turandot,” and “Aida,” and all three were broadcast live on Orf III.
This year’s production will run from July 9 to August 23 and will also star James Rutherford, Tommi Hakala, Johanni van Oostrum, Johanna Will, Jens-Erik Aasbø, Dominick Valdés Chenes, and Brian Michael Moore.
