Rob McGinness & Chrystal E. Williams Headline Counterpoints Concerts’ 2025-26 Season

Counterpoints Concerts has announced its 2025-26 season. Here is a rundown of the vocal performances on offer.

First up is “Mostly Mahler” at the S Street Salon. The concert features Mahler’s “Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen” and “Rückert-Lieder” as well as three romances for cello and piano by Clara Schumann and “The Seed of a Dream” by Lory Laitman. Baritone Rob McGinness headlines the program alongside cellist Joseph Gotoff and pianist Natalia Kazaryan.

Performance Date: Dec. 12, 2025


Then comes “French Affair” at the Arts Club Washington. Mezzo-soprano Chrystal E. Williams and Natalia Kazaryan perform works by Berlioz, Ravel, Pauline Viardot-Garcia, Lili Boulanger, and Nadia Boulanger.

Performance Date: Feb. 20, 2026
