New York City Opera To March At NYC Pride

By Francisco Salazar

The New York City Opera is set to march in New York’s pride parade.

The company continues to its pride initiative, which began last season marching at the annual parade and presenting “Angels in America” in June. This season, the company concluded its season with the U.S premiere of “Brokeback Mountain.”

Like last season, the organization will march with a theme highlighting next season’s pride opera, which will be the world premiere of Iain Bell and Mark Campbell’s “Stonewall.” The opera will have its world premiere in June.

The NYC Pride Parade will take place at 12 p.m. and audiences can sign up to march with the New York City Opera on its website.
