OperaStreaming has announced its December slate.

Things kick off with the streaming service set to present a production of Massenet’s “Werther” from the Teatro Comunale di Modena.

The opera stars Veronica Simeoni as Charlotte with Francesco Demuro as Werther and Guido Dazzini as Albert. Maria Rita Combattelli rounds out the cast as Sophie. Francesco Pasqualetti conducts with Stefano Vizioli directing.

The company will also stream Rossini’s “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” from the Teatro Municipale, Piacenza. The opera stars Ruzil Gatin, Marco Filippo Romano, Giuseppina Bridelli, Simone del Savio, Mattia Denti, Stefania Ferrari, Francesco Cascione, and Simone Tansini. Nikolas Nägele conducts.

Streaming Date: Dec. 20, 2020

Finally, the month draws to a close with a stream of “La Cenerentola” from the Teatro Comunale di Modena. Paola Gardina, Antonio Siragusa, Nicola Alaimo, Nikolaj Borchev, Floriana Cicio, Ana Victória Pitts, and Ugo Guagliardo star. Aldo Sisillo conducts.
