On April 29, Central City Opera will celebrate its 90th anniversary with the “Theatre of Dreams” Gala.

Held at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, the event will feature former CCO principal artist Will Liverman, joined by Matthew Plenk and Kira Dills-DeSurra, and accompanied by Jeremy Reger. The masquerade-themed evening will include cocktails in the museum’s Leprino Family Atrium, a dinner honoring Pamela and Louis “Dutch” Bansbach for their contributions to CCO over the last 20 years, and a live auction hosted by Halie Behr.

Funds raised will go towards supporting company initiatives such as the Bonfils-Stanton Foundation Artists Training Program, the stewardship of 27 historic properties in Central City, and the company’s Summer Festival, a tradition which goes back to 1932.

“It’s an honor to chair the Theatre of Dreams Gala as we kick off Central City Opera’s 90th season,” said Heather Miller, Gala Chair and Chief Marketing Officer at UMB Financial Corporation, in an official press statement. “The evening is sure to deliver top-tier food, cocktails and entertainment—all for a good cause.”
