New Jersey Opera Theater has announced its upcoming 2023-24 season.

The season kicks off with “Night of Opera by Richard Wagner.” Audiences will hear arias from the composer’s famed works as performed by New York Dramatic Voices. The showcase will take place at the Union County Performing Arts Center.

Performance Date: Sept. 30, 2023

That will be followed up by performances of “Amahl and the Night Visitors.”

Performance Date: Dec. 12 & 15, 2023

Then in early 2024, audiences will get a chance to check out Act one of “Die Walküre.”

Performance Date: Jan. 20, 2024

Next up is Act one from “Norma.”

Performance Date: Feb. 24, 2024

Then comes an Opera Gala.

Performance Date: April 5, 2023

Then comes a full performance of “Norma.”

Performance Date: June 2023

The New Jersey Opera Theater season closes on a full performance of “Die Walküre.”

Performance Date: July 2024
