
Vocal Arts DC Announces Star-Studded 35th Anniversary Season

Soprano Erin Morley and tenor Lawrence Brownlee perform a recital titled “Golden Age” with pianist Gerald Martin Moore.
Performance Date: September 28, 2025
The world premiere of a new song cycle by composer Jasmine Barnes is presented by mezzo-soprano Sasha Cooke and pianist Myra Huang.
Performance Date: November 4, 2025
Tenor Benjamin Bernheim and pianist Carrie-Ann Matheson perform pieces from their album “Douce France – Mélodies & Chansons.”
Performance Date: February 8, 2026
Baritone Quinn Kelsey and pianist Craig Ketter present a recital exploring themes of adventure, nostalgia, and reflection through works by Vaughan Williams, Copland, and Finzi.
Performance Date: March 1, 2026
Closing out the season is bass-baritone Le Bu and pianist Myra Huang in the 2026 “Gerald Perman Emerging Artist Recital.” The program includes Mussorgsky’s “Songs and Dances of Death.”
