On May 1, the Teatro Verdi in Busseto will present a recital by Anna Netrebko and Luca Salsi.

The concert will celebrate the 125th anniversary of the death of Giuseppe Verdi. The two superstars will also feature pianist Maestro Nelson Calzi.

The event will mark the first recital by Netrebko made up entirely by Verdian repertoire.

Additionally, Calzi will perform on the Steinway D-274 piano, an absolute reference for performers and concert halls worldwide.

Netrebko and Salsi have performed throughout the world together at the Berlin State Opera, Salzburg Festival, Arena di Verona, and Teatro alla Scala. They are set to perform a new production of “Nabucco” at the Teatro alla Scala. They have performed in productions of “Macbeth,” “Don Carlo,” “Andrea Chenier,” “Aida,” “Tosca,” and “Il Trovatore.”
