Victory Hall Opera has released details of its 2024 season.

The company’s ninth season starts off with an open casting call for the chief subjects/co-creators of YAPs, for its new documentary film “YAPs.” The film release is planned for 2025.

“SOUNDFLIGHT 3” stars soprano Sarah Wolfson and tenor Victor Ryan Robertson. They are to perform a program of operatic, popular, folk, spiritual, and contemporary repertoire. The event takes place at the Quarry Gardens at Schuyler June 2-8.

A creative troupe comes together to brainstorm on the new opera “Mall in America.” The piece investigates the life, death, and afterlife of the iconic American shopping center. Composer Matt Boehler leads the workshop along side director/ librettist Miriam Gordon-Stewart, and creative producer Brenda Patterson. The premiere is planned for 2025.
