Victor Herbert Renaissance Project Live! to Present Irish Songs in Virtual ‘Heart O’ Mine’ Concert

By Logan Martell

In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, the Victor Herbert Renaissance Project Live! will present “Heart O’ Mine,” a virtual concert that pays homage to the composer’s Irish roots with music from the 1820s to the 1920s.

The concert follows the company’s November 2020 debut in video creation, and will be available from March 14 through 21, 2021.

With artistic direction by Alyce Mott and choreography by Emily Cornelius, the resident cast features Drew Bolander, Joanie Brittingham, Jovani Demetrie, Alexa Devlin, Jonathan Hare, Andrew Klima, Caitlin Ruddy, Christopher Robin Sapp, and David Seatter. They will be accompanied by pianist and music director Michael Thomas.

Tickets will be available for $10, with purchasers receiving a link to allow them to view the concert for 24 hours after purchase. Seventy percent of proceeds will go to towards artists affected by the ongoing theater closure.
