The Vicenza in Lirica has announced its 10th anniversary season.

The season opens with the concerto “Finale” del Concorso lirico Tullio Serafin.

The festival will present a Concerto Benefico in honor of Assi Gulliver.

Performance Date: June 10, 2023

Next up is the rarely performed opera Malipiero’s “Ecuba.” The Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto will be conducted by Marco Angius with a cast that will be led by Laura Polverelli and Alberto Mastromarino.

Performance Date: June 11, 2023

Mozart’s Requiem will be performed by Barbara Frittoli, Sara Mingardo, and Riccardo Zanellato. The “Iris Ensemble” and Orchestra Camerata Musicale Città di Arco will be conducted by Marco Comin.

Performance Date: Sept. 4, 2023

Mozart’s “Così fan tutte” will feature winners of the Tullio Serafin competition. Cesare Scarton directs the production with the Orchestra dei Colli Morenici conducted by Edmondo Mosè Savio.
