Vancouver Symphony Orchestra USA Unveils 2025-26 Season

Vancouver Symphony Orchestra USA (VSO) has unveiled its 2025-26 season, which features one notable vocal showcase.

“We’re proud to present this breathtaking series of concerts featuring world-class soloists and influential composers who are shaping America’s classical voice,” said Igor Shakhman, VSO’s Chief Executive Officer, per an official press release. “It’s an exciting time for our city and being able to share music in a community where the arts thrive pays dividends in so many ways.”

The lone classical vocal showcase will feature performances of “Carmina Burana” with the Portland Symphony Choir. Also on the program are numerous intermezzi by Mascagni from such works as “Cavalleria Rusticana,” “L’Amico Fritz,” “Isabeau,” “Giuglielmo Ratcliff,” and “Iris.”

The performances, set for Sept. 27 & 28, 2025, will take place at Skyview Concert Hall. Salvador Brotons conducts the performances.
