Vancouver Opera to Present Mozart’s ‘Così fan tutte’
By Francisco SalazarVancouver Opera is set to present Mozart’s “Così fan tutte” at Queen Elizabeth Theatre for three performances.
The production will star Daniel Okulitch as Don Alfonso, Clarence Frazer as Guglielmo, Owen McCausland as Ferrando, Jamie Groote as Fiordiligi, Alex Hetherington as Dorabella, and Tracy Dahl as Despina. Rob Herriot will direct the production and Leslie Dala will conduct.
In a statement, Tom Wright, Vancouver Opera General Director said, “Così fan tutte celebrates wit, warmth, and luminous music, and is one of opera’s most joyous and emotionally rich works. Mozart understood the human heart in all its contradictions, which is why Così continues to resonate so deeply. This opera also has a long history of drawing in both seasoned opera lovers and newcomers. For someone who has never been to an opera before, this is an excellent entry point; for those familiar with Mozart’s exquisite score, any chance to hear it again—in person—is utterly irresistible.”
“Così fan tutte” will open on Feb. 7 and run through 15, 2026.
