Vancouver Opera has announced a partnership with Montecristo Jewellers, who will serve as the official sponsor for the company’s 2025–26 season.

This collaboration marks the company’s first full season sponsorship since 2018–19.

“This is a deeply meaningful partnership for Vancouver Opera,” said Tom Wright, General Director of Vancouver Opera, per an official press release. “Montecristo Jewellers shares our passion for excellence, artistry, and community. Their commitment to supporting the arts and fostering cultural vitality makes them an ideal partner for this exciting season. We’re honored to welcome them as our season sponsor and look forward to expanding the reach and impact of opera in our city.”

“My late wife, Carmelina, and I have been proud supporters of the arts in Vancouver for many years. Opera has always held a special place in our hearts—especially after our son sang in the Vancouver Opera chorus as a young boy,” said Pasquale Cusano, Founder of Montecristo Jewellers. “This community has given so much to our family, and we’re proud to give back by supporting the arts and helping preserve a legacy of excellence. It’s a true honour to be the Season Sponsor of Vancouver Opera.”

The Vancouver Opera season opens on Oct. 25, 2025 with a production of “Rigoletto.”
