Eugenia Forteza and the Baltic Breeze Ensemble are set to perform at Estonia’s Vääna Manor on Dec. 9.
Mezzo-soprano Forteza, Estonian violinist Mirjam Laaneots, cellist Loo Akukask and pianist Samuel Bezerra will present a program of works including tango, opera, classical music, and Broadway repertoire by composers such as Piazzolla, Offenbach, Tailleferre, Gardel, Delfino, Bernstein, and more.
The ensemble met in the fall of 2021 on the last day of their student life at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. Since then they have performed both private and public events both in Estonia. The Vääna Manor concert in Tallinn begins at 7 p.m. local time.
