By David Salazar

An adaptation of Mozart’s “Le Nozze di Figaro” will be presented between July 9-21 for five performances at the Center for Jewish History.

The performances will feature baritone David Serero in the title role with the opera’s musical numbers sung in Italian and its recitatives set to be presented in English.

The remaining cast members will include Hannah Madeleine Goodman as Susanna, Charles Gray as the Count Almaviva, Jennifer Zamorano as the Countess Almaviva, and Allegra Durante as Cherubino.

Serero has produced a number of major operas in a similar vein, including “Don Giovanni” and “Nabucco.”

The performances are set for July 9, 11, 15, 18, and 21.
