The fifth annual Ukrainian Contemporary Music Festival has announced its 2024 season.

For the purposes of this article only vocal works are included.

Opening the festival is “DEFENSE – DEFIANCE – DEDICATION,” staring soprano Vira Slywotzky and Marichka Marczyk.

Ukrainian-American composer Virko Baley celebrates his 85th birthday with the Ukrainian Contemporary Music Festival. Soprano Olga Pasichnyk and others perform on the celebratory recital.

Soprano Jennifer Gliere and bass-baritone Hans Tashjian sing in “Travel Diaries.”
