Ukraine Singers Dominate Concurso Tenor Viñas 2026 Winners

The 63rd Concurso Internacional de Canto Tenor Viñas has announced the 2026 winners.

The competition, which was held at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, saw first prize go to Ukrainian Bass-bartione Vladyslav Buialskyi. The prize also includes  30,000 euros and a contract with the Gran theatre del Liceu.

Second prize went to Ukrainian soprano Yuliia Zasimova  while third prize was awarded to Ukrainian baritone Vlad Tlusch.

Fourth prize was awarded to South Korean baritone Felix Park and Costa Rican mezzo-soprano aKarla Pineda won fifth prize. The sixth prize was awarded to Catalan soprano Elionor Martínez, who also won the Premio Oratorio-Lied

The competition was held on Jan. 18 and the singers were accompanied by the Orquesta Sinfónica del Liceu under maestro Julio García Vico.
