Tulsa Opera has named Michael Moniz to the position of Director of Development.

Moniz has worked with such organizations as Ingredion Incorporated, Saint Simeon’s Foundation, Phillips 66, and the University of Tulsa. He also served on the Tulsa Public Schools Board of Education.

“I am honored to join Tulsa Opera as Director of Development and to support Tulsa Opera’s rich heritage and its role as one of our city’s cultural pillars,” said Moniz per an official press release. “I am grateful to be working alongside such an incredible team, and I look forward to expanding philanthropic opportunities that will strengthen the company’s impact and ensure its legacy for generations to come.”

Tulsa Opera’s season opens on “Music from The Shadows” on Oct. 25, 2025.
