By Francisco Salazar

Tenor Christopher Macchio is set to perform at the inauguration of President-Elect and convicted felon Donald J. Trump on Jan. 20, 2025.

According to Vanity Fair and screenshots of the program leaked via X, the tenor will perform the “National Anthem” and “O America.” A representative for the tenor told Vanity Fair that the singer will be present at multiple inauguration events, including the swearing in ceremony.

Macchio has skyrocketed to fame performing almost exclusively for Trump in multiple events including a racist Madison Square Garden Rally, at the White House in 2020, and at the RNC.  The tenor also appeared in the film “Cabrini,” which also featured internationally renowned Mexican tenor Rolando Villazón.

The inauguration will also feature Carrie Underwood, who has received backlash from fans, especially in the LGBT community, and has also received praise from others.
