Trump Uses Pavarotti’s Recordings at Chaotic Pennsylvania Town Hall
By Francisco SalazarTwice-impeached and 34-time convicted felon Donald Trump is at it again playing Pavarotti during a Presidential campaign event.
This time at a town hall in Oaks, Pennsylvania on Oct. 14, the former President played recordings of Luciano Pavarotti after his town hall was cut short after two attendees needed medical attention.
According to reports, Trump was being asked questions from voters when a man in the crowd fainted 30 minutes into the sessions. As the man was being attended, the former president asked to play “Ave Maria” by Schubert. And once the man was taken out of the venue, another medical incident interrupted his ramble on immigration.
This time, Trump asked to play “Ave Maria” sung by Pavarotti and said, “Let’s not do any more questions. Let’s just listen to music.”
Trump went on to play 40 minutes of music including a version of Pavarotti performing “It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World” with James Brown. According to reports, Trump stood on stage swaying his hands. He was who was accompanied by South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, who infamously shot and killed her own dog.
Trump and Pavarotti’s connection is not very clear despite the former president stating on several occasions that they were “very good friends.” However, in 2016, when the former president used a recording of Pavarotti’s “Nessun Dorma,” Pavarotti’s widow Nicoletta Mantovani demanded that Trump stop using the tenor’s most famous aria recording at campaign events. At that time, she said that Trump’s values were “incompatible” with Pavarotti’s.
