Trinity Church To Present Messiah

The Choir of Trinity Wall Street, Trinity Baroque Orchestra, and Director of Music Julian Wachner will perform the work in a historically informed manner using period-instruments for four performances.
The Sunday, Dec. 16, performance will be streamed live and made available on demand, free of charge.
The Trinity Church Wall Street has been instrumental in pioneering Handel’s Messiah in the Americas for over 250 years hosting one of the first American performances in 1770. Today, Wachner and The Choir of Trinity Wall Street and Trinity Baroque Orchestra are some of the foremost exponents of the perennial holiday favorite.
This year, the performances of the Messiah will be held at the St. Paul’s Chapel at Broadway and Fulton Street, with floor and balcony seating. Some seats are limited view or monitor-only view, with ticket prices adjusted accordingly.
The concerts will be showcased on Dec. 13 through 17, 2018.
