The Toronto Bach Festival has unveiled its 2025 season. Here is a rundown of the major vocal showcases on offer.

First up in “Kaffeehaus” at the Church of the Holy Trinity. Soprano Sinéad White will be among the performers of the program, which includes the “Wedding Cantata,” BWV 202, and the Chaconne from Violin Partita No. 2. John Abberger is the director and oboist on the program.

Performance Date: May 31, 2025 (two performances, one at 4 p.m. and another at 8 p.m.)

John Butt leads the Toronto Bach Festival Orchestra in a performance of “St. John Passion” at Eastminster United Church. Vocal soloists include Ellen McAteer, Sinéad White, Daniel Taylor, Nicholas Burns, Charles Daniels, Shane Hanson, Jonathan Woody, and Jesse Blumberg.

Performance Date: June 1, 2025
