Tony Arnold & Erika Baikoff Headline Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center’s May 2022 Slate

The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center has announced two vocal showcases to kick off the month of May.

First up will be “The Innovators: Debussy to Crumb by Gilbert Kalish.” The performance will feature soprano Tony Arnold and pianist Juho Pohjonen as they take on music by Debussy, Stravinsky, Ives, and Crumb’s “Ancient Voices of Children, which will also include such performers as Gilbert Kalish, William Anderson, Daniel Druckman, Ayano Kataoka, and James Austin Smith, among many others.

The showcase is set for May 3, 2022.

Two weeks later, Erika Baikoff will headline “Carnival of the Animals,” a performance featuring music by Copland, Debussy, Händel, Biber, and, of course, Saint-Saëns and the piece after which the performance is named.

The concert is set for two performances on May 15 and 17, 2022.
